这是我们为近日在伦敦大学学院教育研究院(UCL IOE)前抵制反跨"妇女解放会议"的抗议制作的宣传单
This is our leaflet for a recent protest against the transphobic Women's Liberation Conference at the Institute of Education, University College London

For more information on Women's Liberation and Women's Place UK, their transphobic track records, as well as a list of notorious trans-exclusive ('gender critical') activists among the conference's attendees, see here.

As trans people & allies from China, we stand in solidarity with trans people in the UK. No TERFs on campus, hate speech IS violence!
TERFs walk hand-in-hand with other far-right ideologies.
We are disgusted by the normalisation of transphobia in UK mainstream media.
Free speech is about giving voices to the marginalised and the oppressed. Power to Trans Rights, not transphobic lies!
The invocation of Article 35 to block the Scottish GRA reform bill is a shameless attack on trans rights by the Tories.
Starmer’s Labour is complicit & chickens for not standing up for trans people.
(hand-made placards. from top to bottom: 'TRANS IS REAL, NOT MISOGYNY, NOT HOMOPHOBIA, NOT CONVERSION THERAPY'; 'TRANSPHOBIA IS A HATE CRIME'; 'WPUK IS A HATE GROUP')
The living conditions of trans people in the UK resonate with trans people in China:
There is limited legal recognition or protection for trans people.
Trans healthcare in China is highly inaccessible and unequal. There is no universal healthcare. Trans people have to pay for their own healthcare.
Trans people are strongly discriminated in the job market; there is widespread transphobic violence from the state, from families and from the public.
In a 2017 report, only 6 out of 1640 trans people interviewed did NOT experience domestic violence.
There is no direct legal protection against conversion therapy. Many young trans people are sent to illegal facilities against their will.
The government is further restricting access to key HRT medication and pursuing a highly socially conservative agenda. (See articles from QR codes)
TERFs in China:
TERF talking points are making rounds on the Chinese internet. Global right-wing discourses find allies in all countries – transphobia is no exception.
The same gender-essentialist and hateful rhetoric is being used to exclude, dehumanise and harm trans people in China by self-avowed ‘feminists’.
China is not uniquely hostile to trans people, nor is the UK.
Trans activism in China:
Queer and feminist advocacy in China is difficult and dangerous. It can be used as evidence for ‘provoking trouble’ or even state subversion.
